Kidnapped Kaduna Village Head Found Dead in Nomadic Forest

The Village Head of Dagachi, Yuda Garba, who was kidnapped on March 11, has been found dead, with his decomposing body discovered in a bush weeks after his abduction.

Garba’s body was located in the Nomadic Forest near Kuyeri, close to the border between Kaduna State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

Villagers Discover Decomposing Body

A source, Zagazola Makama, disclosed the development on his X handle on Monday, revealing that local residents alerted authorities after stumbling upon the remains.

Security personnel were swiftly deployed to the scene alongside community members, and Garba’s relatives confirmed his identity.

Security Forces Intensify Rescue Efforts

Reports indicate that security forces have intensified efforts to locate and rescue other victims who were abducted during the same attack that led to Garba’s kidnapping.

When contacted, the Kaduna State Police Command spokesperson, ASP Mansir Hassan, stated, “I will get back to you.”
