Israeli Strike On Gaza Mosque Kills 19

The mosque, located near the main hospital in Deir al-Balah, was sheltering displaced individuals.

An Israeli attack on a mosque in the Gaza Strip early Sunday killed at least 19 people.

People who had been displaced were being housed at the mosque in Deir al-Balah, which is close to the main hospital.

According to the Associated Press, the bodies were found at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital morgue, and hospital records confirmed that all of the deceased were men.

Israel has intensified its attacks on Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, claiming to have targeted a Hamas command center hidden among civilians. This comes as the war against Iran-allied organizations becomes more extensive.

Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee urged evacuations in northern Gaza and stated, “We are in a new phase of the war.”

Israeli strikes throughout the night targeted Hezbollah locations in Beirut. Hezbollah claimed to have fired rockets at Israeli soldiers.

“We are trying to reach a cease-fire in Gaza and in Lebanon,” the Iranian foreign minister stated.

Health officials say that there have been 42,000 Palestinian deaths. In the meantime, Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, stated, “Israel has the right and duty to defend itself.”
