The Executive Chairman of Idah Local Government Council, Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu, has reinstated Mr. Sylvester Ukwumonu Ojogbane as his Chief of Staff with immediate effect.
This decision comes after an investigative committee, led by Hon. Abdul Meyanga, submitted a report clearing Mr. Ojogbane of any wrongdoing. The committee’s findings were presented following a stakeholders’ meeting with the Deputy Chief Servant of Kogi State, Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo, at the Government House.
The report, which was reviewed by the Executive Chairman, found no evidence of guilt or misconduct against Mr. Ojogbane, prompting his reinstatement.
As a result, Comr. Bala Musa Eleojo, who had been acting as Chief of Staff, will now return to his previous role as Senior Special Assistant on Information, Communication, and Strategy to the Idah Local Government Council Chairman.
Hon. Halilu’s decision underscores his administration’s commitment to fairness, transparency, and accountability in the governance of Idah Local Government Council.
