Ibadan Explosion: Fish Out Illegal Miners Immediately – Tinubu To Makinde

President Bola Tinubu insists that those responsible for the Ibadan explosion in Oyo State, believed to be illegal miners, must face legal consequences.

After the incident, Governor Seyi Makinde attributed the explosion to illegal miners storing explosive devices in a building in Bodija, according to Daily Trust.

In a statement on Wednesday, President Tinubu’s Special Adviser, Ajuri Ngelale, quoted him expressing concern and urging a swift investigation into the cause of the blast.

Tinubu conveyed condolences to Oyo State and called on government agencies to promptly uncover the circumstances behind the tragic event.

He specifically directed the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to collaborate with the state government for immediate and comprehensive relief efforts for the victims.
