I will Rehabilitate All Primary And Secondary Schools For Effective Education ~ Usman Jibrin The governorship candidate of the Accord Party, Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin Oyibe, has again reiterated his decision to prioritize the educational sector of the state. The former military leader made this known today in Anyigba ahead of the November 11th election. Speaking on the level of decay in our educational sector, he stressed that the current state of our educational system is warped, depraved, and weak to produce quality students that can compete favorably against their contemporaries. During my ward-to-ward consultation tour, I saw with dismay the sorry state of some of these primary and secondary schools. It leaves huge doubts about the nature and quality of education obtainable in such an environment. These shall be aggressively contained under my watch as I bid to revolutionize the sector, he said. These are the schools that many of us passed through to become what we’re today; we can’t afford to leave them unattended. My administration will ensure a rapid reformation and transformation of our educational system to the best standard it deserves. I will ensure that teachers who are employed to teach in these institutions are qualified enough, as that will improve the standard of education our children attain from these schools.
