House of Reps Gives Tinubu ₦705m to Support Vulnerable Nigerians (Photos)

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday received a cheque from Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, and Deputy Speaker, Benjamin Kalu, to support his philanthropic initiatives for the vulnerable.

The cheque presentation took place during the President’s Iftar (breaking of Ramadan fast) with members of the House of Representatives at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Speaking at the event, Speaker Abbas commended President Tinubu’s commitment to uplifting the less privileged, noting that the donation was a gesture of solidarity with his efforts to support the vulnerable in society.

In response, President Tinubu expressed appreciation to the lawmakers for their thoughtful contribution, emphasizing the importance of collective responsibility in addressing social challenges.

The event was attended by several lawmakers, top government officials, and dignitaries.
