The shake-up, announced in a statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin-Tofa, took immediate effect on Thursday.

- Abolished Role: The office of the Chief of Staff, previously held by Alhaji Shehu Wada Sagagi, has been scrapped.
- SSG Dropped: Dr. Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, the Secretary to the State Government, was relieved of his duties, citing health reasons.
Retained Commissioners:
Several commissioners retained their portfolios, including:
- Attorney General and Justice: Barr. Haruna Isa Dederi.
- Health: Dr. Abubakar Labaran.
- Agriculture: Dr. Danjuma Mahmoud.
- Works and Housing: Engr. Marwan Ahmad.
Reassignments:
Notable reassignments include:
- Deputy Governor Aminu Abdulssalam: Moved from Local Government to Higher Education.
- Hon. Muhammad Tajo Usman: Transitioned to Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

Commissioners Dropped:
