[Full List Inside] President Tinubu Reshuffles Cabinet, Reassigns 10 Ministers, and Sacks Five

Abuja, Nigeria — President Bola Tinubu has reshuffled his cabinet, reassigning 10 ministers to different ministries while relieving five others of their duties. The reshuffle and sackings were confirmed in a press statement issued by the Presidency on Wednesday.

Among the ministers removed from office are:

• Barr. Uju-Ken Ohanenye, Minister of Women Affairs,
• Lola Ade-John, Minister of Tourism,
• Prof. Tahir Mamman SAN OON, Minister of Education,
• Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo, Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development, and
• Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, Minister of Youth Development.

The president also reassigned several key members of his cabinet to new roles. The newly reassigned ministers and their new portfolios include:

• Hon. Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu, who was previously Minister of State for Education, is now Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction.
• Dr. Morufu Olatunji Alausa, previously Minister of State for Health, is now the Minister of Education.
• Barr. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, formerly Minister of State for Water Resources and Sanitation, will now serve as Minister of State for Works.
• Hon. Abubakar Eshiokpekha Momo, who was the Minister of Niger Delta Development, will now serve as Minister of Regional Development.
• Uba Maigari Ahmadu, previously Minister of State for Steel Development, is now the Minister of State for Regional Development.
• Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, formerly the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, will take over as Minister of State for Finance.
• Sen. John Owan Enoh, previously Minister of Sports Development, is now the Minister of State for Trade and Investment.
• Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, who was the Minister of State for Police Affairs, will now serve as Minister of Women Affairs.
• Ayodele Olawande, who previously served as Minister of State for Youth Development, will take over as the Minister of Youth Development.
• Dr. Salako Iziaq Adekunle Adeboye, formerly Minister of State for Environment, is now the Minister of State for Health.

These changes impact key ministries including Education, Humanitarian Affairs, Regional Development, and Youth Development, among others.
