Abuja, Nigeria — The Bureau Newspaper has learned that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed the military to convert their vast lands into agricultural hubs to address food shortages and insecurity. This initiative was also posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
According to Hon. Babajimi Benson, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Defence, President Tinubu has mandated the Armed Forces to prioritize farming on their extensive lands across the country. He believes that enhancing food security will contribute to reducing overall insecurity.
