Edo Primary: APC Sacks Uzodinma As Chairman, Names Otu As Replacement

As head of the Edo State Governorship Primary Election Committee, Senator Hope Uzodinma, the governor of Imo State, has been sacked by the All Progressive Congress (APC).

This development follows a crisis that has rocked the state’s party after a number of people emerged as candidates in the recently ended Uzodinma-supervised primaries.

The National Organising Secretary of the party, H.E. Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, OFR, issued a revised list that indicates Bassey Otu, the governor of Cross Rivers state, will head the committee, with Alh. Rabiu Suleiman serving as secretary.

Additionally, the Party declared that Barr. C. C. Udenwa will lead the Appeals Committee.
