Every natural occurrence is connected to the sky, according to Marjorie Taylor Greene, a congresswoman from Georgia serving in the US House of Representatives.
After an earthquake shook the Northeast, particularly New Jersey and New York, Greene tweeted a warning to fellow Americans, saying that God is sending signs for them to turn from their sins.
She ends by expressing her hope that Americans will not ignore these signs as common occurrences but rather take them seriously.
Eventually, her tweet received comments from the community pointing out information about earthquakes and demonstrating how often eclipses occur.
The public has previously taken issue with Greene’s assertions on previous occasions. In an interview with “60 Minutes” last year, she had compared criminal accusations against former President Trump to the crucifixion of Jesus and called Democrats paedophiles.
