The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has confirmed the arrest of Yahaya Bello, the former governor of Kogi State, over allegations of corruption and financial mismanagement during his tenure.
Sources within the anti-graft agency disclosed that Bello was taken into custody earlier today after weeks of heightened speculation about his alleged involvement in the misappropriation of state funds and money laundering.
