Bobrisky, who has been involved in a number of scandals in recent weeks, was taken into custody at the EFCC’s Lagos Command on Wednesday night after being apprehended there.

In a phone conversation on Thursday, the EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, confirmed the situation and mentioned that Bobrisky would face legal charges.

As Oyewale put it, “Bobrisky is here. He is under our Lagos command after being taken into custody in Lagos last night. Among other things, we detained him for allegedly abusing naira notes, spraying nara notes, and mutilating cash.

“We sincerely intend to restore the naira’s dignity. Even while our investigation is still underway, charges against him will undoubtedly be brought against him soon.
