Abuja, Nigeria – Popular Nigerian internet personality, Bobrisky, has filed a ₦1 billion lawsuit against social media influencer, VeryDarkMan, according to reports from The Bureau Newspaper Nigeria.
The lawsuit stems from allegations that VeryDarkMan shared a voice recording, purportedly generated by artificial intelligence (AI), falsely linking it to Bobrisky.
In response, Bobrisky issued a 24-hour ultimatum to VeryDarkMan, demanding a retraction of the claims and a public apology. Failure to comply, Bobrisky warned, would lead to further legal measures.
Bobrisky’s legal team has expressed confidence in the case, accusing VeryDarkMan of defamation and intentional malice in spreading the AI-generated content.
This lawsuit is part of Bobrisky’s broader effort to safeguard her public reputation and combat the dissemination of false information online.
