Because of Cheap Tariff, Nigerians Leave On Their ACs & Freezers For Days – Adelabu Laments [Video]

According to Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu, some Nigerians turn on their air conditioners and freezers for days on end even though they aren’t using them because electricity is so cheap there.

Nigerians have been advised to exercise caution on their consumption of energy by Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu.

Adelabu claimed there is no consumption management in the nation during a news conference. He added that although Nigerians may not have the same access to information as those overseas, they do know how electricity is managed.

Additionally, he asserted that because power is so “cheap” in the nation, some individuals leave their freezers and air conditioners running for days on end even when they are not using them.
