Bandits Threatening To Kill Me – Gov. Radda Cries Out

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, revealed on Friday that he has received threats of potential attacks from bandits causing unrest in certain areas of the state. This disclosure was made during an expanded emergency security council meeting held at the Government House.

Governor Radda reported that the threats were identified through security intelligence. Speaking in Hausa, he conveyed his lack of concern over the threats, attributing his confidence to divine protection, saying, “Based on security reports that we are receiving, I am among those that the bandits are thinking of attacking, but that doesn’t muddle me because God is with us, and he will protect us.”

Despite these threats, Governor Radda emphasized that his administration remains committed to implementing dynamic security measures to combat banditry and address other security challenges confronting the state.

The meeting saw the participation of state security agency leaders, as well as traditional and religious leaders, senior government officials, and representatives from the business community, signaling a collective effort to strategize against the prevailing security issues.
