PRESS RELEASE

HEAVY DUTY AND HAULAGE ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (HDHTAN) KOGI STATE COMMAND

CALL FOR PEACEFUL CONDUCT DURING #ENDBADGOVERNANCE PROTEST

As the nation prepares for the #EndBadGovernance protest, the HEAVY DUTY AND HAULAGE ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (HDHTAN) urges its members and the general public to conduct themselves in the most honorable and peaceful manner.

We understand the frustration and hardship that has led to this protest, and we empathize with the struggles of Nigerians. However, we must emphasize the importance of maintaining law and order during this demonstration.

We warn against any form of violence, looting, or destruction of property, which could harm fellow citizens and undermine the purpose of the protest. We must not allow political actors to hijack this movement and twist its purpose into fighting the federal government.

Instead, let us unite peacefully and constructively to demand better governance and improved living conditions. Let us show the world that we can protest with dignity and respect for one another.
