Prominent political figures, particularly those associated with the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who previously supported Atiku Abubakar in the 2023 presidential race, have reconvened in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
This gathering, spearheaded by ex-Minister of Transportation, Dr. Abiye Sekibo, has publicly endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Siminilayi Fubara.
Dr. Sekibo highlighted the unified support of the party and Rivers State’s populace for Governor Fubara. He mentioned that there were no objections to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike collaborating with President Tinubu, provided that it contributes to the state’s tranquility.
Furthermore, Prince Uche Secondus, the former PDP National Chairman, assured that the party would support Governor Fubara’s re-election for a second term in 2027.
