Alex Iwobi, Others Arrive Super Eagles’ Camp Ahead Friendlies

Ten players reported to the Super Eagles camp in Marrakech, Morocco on Tuesday, according to Completesports.com.

Among the first players to report to camp are defenders Jamilu Collins and Bruno Onyemaechi, midfielder Alex Iwobi, winger Moses Simon of Nantes, and goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali of Chippa United.

Cyriel Dessers, Nathan Tella, Semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey, and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru are among the other early entrants.

Later today, more invited players are anticipated to report to camp.

The inaugural training session for the Super Eagles is scheduled for later today at 4:30 p.m. local time.

While a permanent head coach is being appointed, the team is being led by former winger Finidi George.

At the Grand Stade de Marrakech on Friday, Nigerians will square off against their enduring foes, the Black Stars of Ghana, in their inaugural friendly.

The second friendly between the former African champions and the Eagles of Mali is scheduled on Tuesday of next week at the same location.
