The Federal Government introduced a new pay satellite television service that it promised would replace the current ones and fulfill Nigerians’ desire for high-quality television at a reasonable price.
The statement was delivered at the official opening of Silver Lake Television (SLTV), an indigenous Nigerian satellite television network, at the Shehu Yar’Adua Center in Abuja by Senator George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
According to Akume, the group’s founding is consistent with Nigerians’ wish to “reap from the bountiful harvest awaiting investors in the Nigerian economy.”
He praised the proprietors of the company, Metrodigital Limited, for what he called their patriotic action in installing the satellite television.
We are clearly headed in the correct direction for our country’s development and recovery. We have to fix this country on our own; it’s the only one we can really call our own, added Akume.
The SGF continued, saying, “Nigerians have been hankering after substitutes for Satellite Pay TV that can take the place of the current ones in recent times. From the information provided to me, SLTV has made it evident that they are eager to offer their fellow citizens genuine value for their money in terms of service quality and pricing.
