The United States has attributed the deaths of three American military personnel and the wounding of 25 others to militants backed by Iran, following a drone strike on Sunday in northeastern Jordan. This incident led President Joe Biden to assertively promise a response.
In his statement on Sunday, President Biden remarked, “While we are still gathering the facts of this attack, we know it was carried out by radical Iran-backed militant groups operating in Syria and Iraq.” He firmly added, “And have no doubt — we will hold all those responsible to account at a time and in a manner of our choosing.”
